I'm Sarah, Sarah Kushner to be exact. (There are a lot of Sarahs.) I’m a senior at Drexel University studying Computer Science. My concentrations are Computer Graphics and Vision, and Data Structures and Algorithms. I started out as an Animation major, but took a programming class and fell in love with it. It was hard for me at first, but I liked it too much to stop. So I switched to Computer Science and have also added Digital Media as a minor. I have applied to go France next year for my Master's degree. There, I would have the privilege of working with some of the top Computer Graphics researchers in the world at INRIA.
I’ve always been one of those people that can’t decide between their artistic and technical side. I love both equally. So I was faced with a bit of a dilemma when trying to choose a school and major. As a student who attended a fine arts high school, I was misguided in that I thought I didn't need anything but art. It turns out though, that I also love math and programming. It came to my attention that programming and art can be combined in the field of Computer Graphics, and that is where I want to be.
I want to learn everything. I like to prove (to myself?) that I’m smart and capable. Maybe I just like to test my own limits, but I always go for challenges; I try things that I think will be hard for me. I try things just to see if I can. I look forward to attempting to learn everything ever, while improving what I already know how to do. I also look forward to working with some of you reading this someday!
Check out my stuff!
